Cheaper than others but same quality
Looked at mats that were more expensive. Figured I’d give this one a shot and it’s great. Pure uncomfortableness for the first few minutes then pure bliss and relaxation.

Surprisingly effective – total relaxation!
I was a bit skeptical at first, but this acupressure mat and pillow set is one of my favorite self-care tools. After just a few minutes of lying on it, I can feel the tension in my back, neck, and shoulders start to melt away. Great mat for tired and sore muscles
I love this mat. I works really well to soothe and relax tired and tense muscles. I’ve used the pillow more than anything for my neck, and recently have started using the mat on my shoulders and middle back. I’ve started physical therapy for my neck and upper back, and this has definitely helped with the soreness that has come from working the new muscles I’m trying to strengthen!

My osteopath suggested I buy an acupressure mat and I researched all the different ones available and found this one. Even though it was a little more expensive than the others, I really like the quality and it is still in good nick after a few months. I like the bag and I use the pillow on my office chair. I like the strap that’s included on the back of the pillow so that you can put it onto any chair.

Best of the best!
I blindly tried 4 top rated mats and this was the winner! I got the complete option with the extra mat. This one hit all the marks, perfect spikes to feel the benefits of acupuncture, well-made with high quality materials (fabric and plastic spikes,) and supportive pillow for holding neck in correct alignment. In fact, this was the nicest pillow of the 4. It has perfect density to keep everything aligned and in place for the spikes to go to work. I work in front of a computer a day and this was much appreciated. I use the smaller mat to sit on/off at my desk when my legs feel restless. It’s amazing! Now sure how managed as long as I did without an acupuncture mat.

Day 2 and learning as I go with this amazing mat! I don’t usually do reviews but I Love this entire mat, pillow and foot mat. I have been dealing with nerve pain and have had neck pain in the past. I wish I had this when I was going through that. Start with a tshirt and work your self to lifting up your shirt. I now want a relaxation room in our empty nesting house. 🙂

Nice quality but not worth it
This is higher quality than your average spike mat. The shape of the pillow is much more thought out than the ones you usually see. However, I think the price point is extremely high. The nicer material etc just doesn’t make this worth the extra $$. I’m and avid spike mat user for over 10 years and the thicker “mattress” just doesn’t work for me. If you use yours on the floor this would probably be great but I lay on mine in the bed and want it to form to the curves of my body. Unfortunately, the material is too stiff to do that. I had to return it.

I like everything about this product .1. The packaging for transport when travelling2. The accessories are a bonus and very useful.3. I have learned the number of spikes creates a different experience . This has the most I have found so far but again I am a novice here.What a wonderful experience everytime . It has changed the way my body feels which in turn gives the mind a lovely boost .So happy that I found this ….a life changer 💕

This mat is comfortable, comes with illustrated instructions in a nice booklet, and so easy to take out and put away in a beautiful linen bag.Highly recommend trying it out, to relax the nervous system and ease sore muscles (neck, back, feet especially). It’s quicker and easier than stretching, perfect after a long day.

Like the quality of mat, very sharp but has a cover to help you get used to it. I feel alive after being on the mat for a short time. Have only had it a short time but i plan to use it for my self care.

I have been a long time proponent of acupuncture and acupressure and this mat has given me the same results in the “comfort” of home, but this mat certainly takes some getting used to. I use it every morning for 20min and, like a cold plunge, your body has to acclimate to the spikes when you lay on it, but once your body reaches that point you get a full body release of endorphins and it feels wonderful. I have lower back issues due to degenerative discs and have lower back tightness every day and often I suffer from sciatic pain but since using this matt for the last 4 days I already feel an incredible difference. My achy stiff sensation in my lower back has seriously reduced and back feels better than it has in YEARS! Truly! My entire back up to my shoulder and up my neck all feel so much better. It is making a BIG! difference for my overall health. I spend a lot of my work days sitting in my office at my desk and typically I get early to mid afternoon discomfort from sitting so much, because of my back issues, but I’ve noticed in the last couple of days that these daily discomforts seem to be subsiding. The endorphin release seems to give me an energy push and also seems to stimulate morning bowel routine.I look forward to my morning Ayur Mat routine and it has greatly improved my quality of daily life. I love this mat and will continue to use it daily! Thank you Ayur Mat!
