Complete kit for relaxation and tension relief!
This kit is excellent and has quickly become something I reach for whenever I feel tension building up. The materials feel supportive and well thought out, so I can tell it’s made to last. Honestly, it should last a lifetime. I like that you get so many different sizes and options in this set. I think the small pad is great for your feet. I love the pillow for my low back and my neck, and I can use that when I’m seated in my recliner in addition to laying down. And, of course, the larger pad is great for your full back. You just have to be careful to ease yourself into using these, and I recommend starting out on a softer surface like a bed or a couch.My personal favorite way to use this is for my neck and it also feels incredible on the back of my head, almost like a scalp massage in a way. If I give it 15 to 20 minutes, the tension is leaving, and I’m feeling refreshed and much more relaxed!Again, I want to emphasize that the acupressure effect feels unusual at first, but once you get used to it, the combination of pressure and relaxation is amazing. I’ve tried a lot of tools for pain and tension, but this kit gives me more flexibility and options than most!

I love this mat but not at this price
I was being inundated with ads for the other brand of acupressure mat, and so when this showed up in my Vine feed, I was stoked to grab it. I didn’t realize at the time how much this product costs and I do not think they are worth that amount. I would absolutely not pay full price.The standard mat, pillow, and small mat are beautiful- the color is lovely, and the fabric feels substantial. They are filled with natural materials. It’s obvious that they’re made to last, and made with care. The materials feel good overall. The mat is very comfortable. The pain is completely tolerable, and it does provide the promised sense of warmth and relaxation. I found it difficult to get the right amount of pressure on my neck/head with the pillow- there’s just not a substantial enough amount of filling to target the cervical spine. I like having the small mat for my feet when I’m sitting upright.There is a five year warranty. The covers are removable and able to be cleaned. Well made
Very nice acupressure set. Good quality, lovely vibrant color. I would recommend following the instructions and starting slow. Painful at first but once your body accepts the acupressure it is soothing and helps release tight muscles and relieves stress. It comes with a pillow, long mat and short mat so a full body acupressure set. I am disappointed though because this set is $390.00 at the time of this review which is very high compared to other acupressure sets with the same type of pads and also disappointing because at that price you would think it would come with a carrying bag which to my amazement seems to be an additional $75 more. Just the cost of this set would stress me out. I do recommend this product but not at this price.

I had never tried an acupressure mat prior to receiving the Pranamat. It’s good timing because I have been dealing with neck, back, and shoulder pain through PT, Chiro, and massage. The mat is obviously made of high-quality, natural materials such as linen, cotton, buckwheat hulls, and coconut fiber. The lotus flowers are super sturdy and will hold up to the weight of your body pressing down on them. This is no flimsy set. The shipping label says it weighs over 8 lbs. It doesn’t come with a storage bag so I will keep it in the box it came in.My understanding is that I need to work up to stretches of time that far exceed what I am currently able to handle. I have yet to get past a few minutes and my muscles have not reached the point of relaxing. I am dedicated to continuing to work towards the goal though even if it takes me a while to get there. My first use was on the couch since the manual recommended a soft surface like a couch or bed for first-timers. I learned to carefully lower myself on the mat and not to slide. Sliding can cause the lotus flowers to scratch the skin. The pillow is filled with buckwheat hulls. I shook them down to the bottom of the pillow, hoping it would conform to the shape of my neck to get better coverage. I did not get the best coverage on my back when using the mat on the sofa. My back was mainly red in the area around my shoulder blades. For my next use, I moved on to the hard floor. I placed a rolled bath towel under the mat at my lower back. It helped with better contact but the bath towel was too big to comfortably lay on for very long. I suggest using a smaller towel, like a hand towel instead. I am going to continue to work on increasing my time on the mat to reap the benefits. I will come back to update my review once I can manage 15+ minutes. I am also going to get my daughter to try it out since she has experience with a much cheaper acupressure mat. I will report back again soon.Update: My daughter came to visit, so I asked her to try out the Pranamat Accupressure Mat and give me her opinion. At first, she declined and said she already knows what acupressure mats are like so she didn’t need to. I told her she had to because I promised to have her test it in my review and I wanted to update it to include her experienced opinion. She absolutely loved it! In fact, she immediately laid claim to it if I decide not to keep it for any reason. She reminded me several times during the visit that she would love to have it if I don’t use it often. She commented on how much better it is than the one she previously owned. She was especially impressed with how sturdy the lotus flowers are. She said the quality of the Pranamat was so much better than the one she owned. She liked the materials used for the mat and the buckwheat pillow. I think I’m going to have to keep a close eye on my Pranamat Acupressure Mat or it might mysteriously disappear one day when she comes to visit.
