Easily and Efficiently Target Any Area Calves How to Use on Calves

In order to do this exercise, you need to size the Rolflex a little bit wider. Once you have the therapy arm adjusted and clamped onto your calf, ensure that you have the ability to flex and point your foot. After you begin rolling and once you find a good spot, squeeze harder. Find the trigger point, and begin to flex and point your foot again.

Forearms How to Use on Forearms

To use on the forearms, you want to resize the Rolflex to the third or fourth position so that there’s enough room to fit your arm between the two rollers. The yellow roller should be on the extensors, which are located on the back of the forearm. Instead of moving the Rolflex, move your arm back and forth whilst resting the base of the Rolflex on your thigh. When you find the tender spot, apply more pressure by squeezing the handles. Be sure to flex and extend your arm back and forth.

Thighs How to Use on Thighs

Start off by adding the handle extender to the black roller side. With the Rolflex in the fourth or fifth position, clamp it onto your thigh so that the black roller is underneath and the colored roller is on top. When rolling the device, be sure to rotate it to ensure all areas of the quad are being covered; from medial, to central, to lateral. The active release therapy is the most beneficial part of the exercise, so bend and extend the knee when you find those tight spots and knots.

Elbows How to Use on Elbows

Set the adjustment channel into the third or fourth position and place the stabilizing base on your thigh. Place your arm through the Rolflex with the black rollers on your elbow, and maintain constant pressure as you move your arm back and forth. You can also use the device so that the colored roller is on the elbow. When you have the Rolflex in position, bend and straighten your arm. Alternatively, you can twist your wrist whilst moving your arm through the device.

a Feet How to Use on Feet

Put the Rolflex into the first or second adjustment channel. Starting with the top of the foot, place the centre of the colored roller between the metatarsal bones. Squeeze and roll the device all the way to the tips of the toes. Slowly work back and forth, and switch between each toe, all the way up to the ankle. When you find a trigger point, apply pressure and actively flex and extend the toes around the pressure. You want to apply just enough pressure that it feels like a solid stretch.

a Fast, Simple, Effective. Follow our 3 simple steps whenever you need relief

Locate your pain – Start by rolling the Rolflex over your muscles to identify tender spots, also known as knots.Apply and maintain pressure – Place the center ridge of the yellow therapy roller on the knot. Squeeze the handles to apply pressure on the muscle. Slight discomfort here is a sign that you are on the knot.Floss the muscle – While maintaining pressure on that knot, start stretching the muscle. This would be moving your hand if the sore spot is on your forearm. a

How does the Rolflex work?

The arms of the Rolflex (with the yellow foam roller on one side and the dual stability rollers on the other) allow you to comfortably deliver leveraged compression on a targeted area (kind of like a nut cracker for your muscles and fascia).

Is the Rolflex yellow foam roller hard or soft?

The Rolflex comes with a firm yellow foam roller which is rated a 60 out of 80 on the Asker foam hardness scale (it’s a firm density foam which has a little give and provides a deep massage). Softer or harder accessory rollers are available.

Can I use the Rolflex if I have really large arms, calves or legs?

The Rolflex can be adjusted to fit the smallest or largest arms and legs; and the Rolflex includes an extension handle to accommodate using the Rolflex on your upper legs or large calves or arms.

What’s the difference between the Rolflex and the Rolflex Rollit?

The difference between the Rolflex and the Rollit is that the Rollit has one roller arm and is designed for use on your neck, shoulders and lower back; while the Rolflex has two roller arms and works great on your arms, legs, and more.

Rolflex IS the Tool For Healthy Muscle Recovery!
My teeanage son is a varsity baseball pitcher and asked me to get a roller so he could massage his arm after pitching. He found a $20 item on Amazon. “You get what you pay for,” I told him. I sat down and researched higher-priced items. In the end, I purchased the $80 Rolflex for him. Fast foward 9 months and I am the very proud owner of 2 Rolflex and 1 Rollit, Rolflex’s secondary product ($30).Precision Pressure: Probably the #1 feature of the Rolflex device and the Rollit, is the ability to adjust the pressure you apply to the muscle with very little effort and total precision. The hinged device, enables the user to gently increase or decrease the pressure with total precision using your fingertips holding the two handles together.Deterrants to Regular Use: If you use a rechargeable pulsating massage gun, which I have and do use, you probably enjoy the simplicity of the machine doing the work. The Rolflex is not that easy. That said, you cannot get the same therapeutic results with a massage gun that you can achieve with the Rolflex. It is easy to use, but it takes some practice. It’s easy to use, but you have to learn your body’s needs, how to position the Rolflex and which notch on the adjustable clamp to set the device, before you’ll achieve maximum benefit. Once you do…IT IS INCREDIBLE!Learning to Use Rolflex: The videos are a great starting point, but there are sooo many more muscles you can dig into if you work at it. For example, as a tennis player, my outer shoulder muscles need therapy regularly. Placing the weighty rubber base on the thigh, opening the clamp to the larger settings and leaning forward until the yellow roller is on the shoulder muscles requires a comfortable position on a firm chair. Once you get it in place, gradually moving the shoulder in and out of the Rolflex while adjusting pressure is heavenly. The same is true for the larger muscles of the leg. Again, it takes practice, but the more I have used it, the more I’ve found ways to dig into the muscles of the legs and arms and there is no question that my body has benefited from a regular routine of rolling out the muscles daily.Rollit (their secondary product): The more I used the Rolflex, the more I craved a similar device for the neck and upper shoulder / high back muscles. Enter the Rollit. Essentially, it’s half of the Rolflex clamp device with a long strap attached to it. The strap has thumb loops that work perfectly. This device takes practice as well and more creativity than the Rolflex, but once you get used to setting it on the muscles and looping the strap around your body and into your free hand, the ability to roll the device on neck, shoulder, upper back, side back muscles and even on the pectoral muscles in front the therapeutic benefits are FANTASTIC!If you are serious about taking care of your sore muscles, THIS IS THE TOOL you need in your arsenal. I got tired of sharing with my son, so I bought one for myself. As a baseball umpire, soccer referee, tennis player and surfer at age 53, I am certain that Rolflex and the Rollit will enable me to stay healthy and avoid injury for many years to come.

Good product wish it was built wider.
This thing is a nice alternative to foam rolling. I wish it had 2 or 3 more size notches because I don’t have very large thighs and it’s still difficult to roll up & down even with that string tool to extend the length. Also I’m not sure how to detach the two parts, because it seems silly to order a second one with a strap attached, just to target the back and shoulders.I’ve seen reviews online where it used to be possible to disconnect the two pieces to target more areas.I’d recommend the product, it definitely helps with targeting calves, hamstrings, & quads more directly.

    it works!
I’ve had this roller for about a month. My tennis elbow got so bad i couldn’t go to the gym because lifting with that arm was extremely difficult and painful. I went to a muscle therapist a couple of times to help relieve the pain, but with little result. I saw this on Amazon and decided to try it out.The first week the results were noticeable. The pain was subsiding and lifting things began to get easier. I’ve learned to use it, and then give it a couple of days and let the muscle heal a little and then use the roller again. After about a month or so of using it the pain level is almost non existent! All I can say is that this roller has been amazing! It just works!

    Does what it says
After seeing an ad on Instagram for this, I bought this to attempt to treat tennis elbow that I have had for about 8 months. I use this for about 3 minutes per forearm in addition to a elbow heating pad that I have on for about 30 minutes. After about 2 weeks of this, it might be too soon to say if it’s getting better or not, but I do know that this device really does get deep into the forearm muscles. Rolling my forearms is supposed to increase bloodflow and promote healing, but I believe it’s going to be a long road for me. I’ve tried it on my calf muscle as well, but found it a bit too firm for me since I don’t have issues there. That’s just me being a wimp though; if you need/want to use this on your calf you definitely can, but I’d rather use a massage gun.Read the instructions, so you know you’re doing this right. It’s called a Rolflex, as in roll your arm through to find the knots, then flex your arm or twist your hand to engage the muscle which will really get the massager into the muscle.I purchased this in October, and I got the gray model that’s pictured, not the blue one. I got the basic version, and the yellow massager piece is plenty firm. Save your money and just get the basic one. It’s very light and the plastic feels durable enough. I don’t know if their claims about the plastic being able to be run over by a car are legit, but I’m not going to find out. The bottom is quite grippy so that you can hold it in place on a table or on your thigh. Item is kind of large, but easy to move around.
