After a few years of living my best “scale-free” life (read: blissful ignorance), I decided it was time to get serious about tracking my health journey. I’m now in my “get in shape before I turn into a sentient cinnamon roll” phase, so naturally, I needed a scale that could handle the truth—gently.Enter: this Vitafit scale.Let me start by saying, this thing is classy. The silver-black finish gives it that cool, sleek “I belong in a high-end spa” look, but it’s not trying too hard. It just is that girl.Now, I’m nearsighted, and mornings before I’ve put in my contacts are a bit of a blurry mess. But this scale has a large, bright LED display that I can actually read without squinting like I’m deciphering ancient runes. Big win.Here’s what I love:Accurate AF. I weighed myself three times in a row just to test it (also because I was in denial), and it gave me the exact same number. No shady fluctuations.Instant-on feature. I step on, it lights up, tells me what I need to know, and we go our separate ways. No tapping, waiting, or negotiating required.Auto shut-off. Once it delivers the news, it ghosts me in a very healthy-boundaries kind of way.Switches between lb/kg/st. Not that I need to know what I weigh in stones, but it’s nice to feel international sometimes.Includes 3 AAA batteries. I bought this scale because I believed in honesty and accountability. What I got instead was a brutally honest life coach that does not care about my feelings.
