Nice! It is as advertised. Tried a 20 pound was way too heavy!! This ine is just right weight only problem is we have a king sized bed. So bought 2 and tired them together. Right weight for us, warm!!

My previous weighted blanket had an awful smell. This one is clearly a much better blanket and I was able to use it the same day I unpacked it. (I still aired it out in the sunshine for a couple of hours but there was no need to do so, I just wanted to.)The little glass beads are small and so comfortable, much better than the blanket I had with larger weighted whatever-they-were.This blanket fits perfectly with the covers I had for my last blanket. I highly recommend using covers because then you don’t have to wash the weighted blanket hardly ever. (See link.) I secure the ties with little toddler hair bands, it’s kind of a fun and meditative activity whenever I wash the covers. (See image.)I bought a slightly lighter blanket (12 pounds) because I also use a heavy warm regular comforter in the winter and in the summer it is sooo hot where I live. I hope I will be able to continue to use the 12 pound blanket on its own as opposed to a generic lightweight blanket.
