New to skipping
I’m young but experiencing heart issues and am a cancer survivor, so I needed an exercise that is fun, easy, portable, and inexpensive to start. This rope is easy to use and the perfect weight for starting out. The pink color helps me keep up with my rope and makes exercising feel more exciting. It was easy to size (stepping in the middle of the rope, the ends of the handles should only reach the top of your armpits) and feels good in the hand. I jump holding the flared end vs the length of the handles. I have a jump mat now but the rope did get some scrapes when I jumped on my concrete driveway. It is worth the price for the quality, and I am looking forward to seeing more colors available in the Amazon store when I need (or just want!) a replacement. I like the small baggie the rope arrived in, so I can store it cleanly.

Worth it!
All jump ropes are NOT the same! This one is the perfect weight and correctly shaped handles for both speed and tricks (which I will eventually learn!). Highly recommend! If you are not familiar, find videos of Dayan Kolev – I do not know him, I just follow him. I could barely do 20 skips in a row at first (embarrassing 😳) but now can easily do a few hundred a day. The more I do, the more it motivates me. A great workout on its own or to add into a routine.

Lightweight
It’s nice but as a beginner it was too lightweight for me. I winded up getting a 5lb rope and now I can go great.

Good speed rope
I am still working on speed rope tricks, but am able to perform basic double unders and criss-cross. Adjusting the rope to my height was easy, and the plastic cap that locks in the adjustment has been durable enough. This rope has held up well and is definitely good value for the money.
