I bought these to use after having my baby vs. going through a ton of disposables. They are comfortable and form fitting – I bought a couple sizes up because I knew I would need the extra space for my stomach and other reviews recommended sizing up one. They did shrink in the wash so I would recommend sizing up at least one. The material is a medium weight, with the gray part being layered with a plastic-y feeling material to prevent leakage. They seem durable and I don’t have any threads pulling. The only thing I wish was different would be that the gray part doesn’t seem to go far enough up in the front all the time. It catches most of the flow without leakage, but sometimes it will go over the top, even with limited flow. They wash easily. Overall, a good value for the money but would recommend being cautious if you are sitting down and your flow is going up.

Great, but not for solo use heavy days
I ordered this on recommendation of a friend, and am happy I did. These are very comfortable in terms of fit, though they are a bit snug (I sized up, but probably could have gone up one more). The fabric is soft and does stretch a bit so the fit is still a bit forgiving. The gusset goes all the way up in the back, though not in the front, but it was high up enough I didn’t worry about front leaks as much, even as a stomach sleeper.I do still hear the gussett crinkle a bit, but only when putting it on; it’s not at all noisy otherwise. That said, this is definitely a light/moderate day and backup product for me. It worked well for the light days at the start and end of my cycle, but my heavy days are just too heavy and resulted in a leak out the side. For me, heavy days definitely required a pad. I was, however, very happy to have this as a backup for that; with both together I didn’t worry about leaks otherwise.Cleanup was easy. I rinsed it well in cold water, then soaked in cold water and OxiClean at least overnight (saw that tip elsewhere), then rinsed and hung to dry until they could go in the wash with the rest of my laundry. Happily there was no permanent staining.Long story short, I’d definitely recommend these for light/moderate days, or as a backup for other methods on heavy flow days.

These are my first period undies and I am not sold. The first few uses were decent. I used them on lighter days and overnight. Pretty comfy. No leaks. Felt pretty dry unless I just just bled then putting them back on could feel a little yuck. I washed them right away but the gusset is light gray so they were all visibly stained after the first use and wash. All black would have been better. I have washed them according to instructions as well. But now in the second/third uses I don’t think they are holding up as well. I wore them on a couple heavier days and after 4 hours or so I felt like they weren’t handling it and checked the outside of the gusset area with a tissue and sure enough little blood was coming through to the outside. Glad I noticed on time. I may just have to use these for overnight when I generally don’t bleed much. Still useful but not what I hoped for.

I have had period panties before from The Period Company but lost them during a move, so I decided to purchase these as they were a little more affordable than my previous. Here are my top statements on these in comparison:Pro 1: I have had zero issues with leaks, and I do have a pretty heavy period. The freedom of having period underwear when you have a heavy period is the best thing about them. It allows an extra layer of protection while using an insertable menstrual product, whether it be a cup, disc, or a tampon. This can be said about period panties in general, but even when I am not using these I have had no leaks!Pro 2: These are incredibly affordable compared to other brands, while not sacrificing quality. The underwear itself is very comfortable, soft, and flattering to the body. I love the range of colors and packs that you can buy.Con 1: The washing process is difficult. Again this can be said about most period underwear, but I found these more difficult to wash than my previous. Not to mention the fact that the absorbent portion is light gray, so stains will be inevitable.Con 2: The leg holes are quite small. It can become uncomfortable at night. Nothing I don’t think sizing up 1 or 2 can’t fix though!Con 3: The absorbency is not as high quality as other products. However, I don’t find this an issue as it still does not leak, and I only have this problem when I am using it as my sole product and not a backup.

These are the most comfortable granny pants ever.. when you’re fed up with wearing thongs and pretty knickers these are the ones to get! They don’t ride up your backside they stay put they don’t hurt the inner top of your legs either which is good. Very true to size and good quality.
