Large bowl sings…small doesn’t.
Beautiful appearance and sound. It rings like a bell and sings wonderfully. I could not be happier with the larger 5″ bowl. It is far better than the smaller version. I am returning the smaller 3″ bowl because it would not “sing” like my other singing bowls.

I wasn’t expecting a sustaining sing (enough for the price) from this cute and pretty singing bowl but its simple and pretty. I use it to begin my meditation and end with it. Sometimes Ill just ring it to remind myself to stay in the moment

Lovely singing bowl! It’s the first one I have purchased for myself, and I am so happy I splurged on this one.It’s so beautiful sounding, but I actually leave it sitting out because it’s somehow therapeutic to just glance at it throughout the day!

Great meditation/music bowl
I got this for a theater prop. I had so much fun playing it before it had to go on stage. We also had to cut the handle shorter due to where it had to fit, but it still made music even with the short handle. I wanted to bring it home, but sadly it has to stay in the prop room. If you need a prop and want it to “dong” this is great!!! After getting the knack, I played it so much at home, my husband was begging me to stop! LOL

Nice tone and very portable
This Tibetan singing bowl set is very pretty. The bowl has a 4 1/4” diameter opening, is about 2 1/2” tall, and has a 1/4” thick rim. There are markings inside and out in a dark brown paint, giving a nice contrast to the shiny brass bowl. The bottom of the bowl is convex and there is a padded ring if you wish to set it on a flat surface. The ring is red and gold fabric, about 1 1/4” tall and 4 3/4” outside diameter with a 2 3/4” inner diameter. When not in use, it fits inside the bowl. The mallet is is 4 7/8” tall x 7/8” diameter, and is made of wood with one end wrapped in a 2” tall suede material. This all fits neatly in a contoured zippered hard-sided case.The tone of the bowl is very pleasant, but I find it quite difficult to get the bowl to sing unless I am holding it. It does fit comfortably cupped in the palm of my hand. The padded ring mutes the sound and makes it hard for me to maintain a tone, but looks nice when displaying it and holds it in place securely. I had difficulty getting it to ‘sing’ for me, but after practicing for several minutes, I was able to make and maintain a tone with the sueded side of the mallet. Using the bare wood caused a very discordant noise.I like the tone this bowl makes. It works well with a little practice, is quite pretty on its own and I love that it has a case so I can tuck it into my backpack and take it with me to help focus when doing outdoor meditation.
