Best Idea. No Down Time
These gloves have been wonderful! I have repetitive use strains in both hands and wrists. I’m guessing the pain & symptoms are similar to arthritis and carpal tunnel. They are healing but very slowly and still painful. They feel very soothing and the fabric is soft and comfortable. My hands have been so injured that I am unable to pull open the velcro straps around the wrist, so we just fastened the strap loosely enough to slip into the glove and never adjust the strap. The fabric is stretchy so that hasn’t been a problem. I’m also sure the consistent icing has helped with the progress I’m making in healing. Best part is that they’re lightweight and I can still work at my laptop and around the house because my fingertips are open for the keyboard and my whole hand is functional. So there’s no real down time. The other hand ice packs I bought first are like heavy mittens and I had to sit or lie down for the whole icing time when I used those. That caused me to put it off and not ice as frequently as I needed.Another thing I really like about these gloves is I can take them out of the freezer and put them on right away because the gel never freezes hard like a lot of other ice packs that get stiff and need to melt a little to be flexible.Lastly, they stay cold for a good amount of time. I started with just one (buying a 2nd now just for convenience) I can easily use one glove and swap it after 10 to 15 minutes to my less injured hand and they stay cold enough for the same amount of time on that side. I don’t think they stay super cold as long as the bulkier heavier ice packs, but there’s no need. These also seem to freeze up faster than the traditional packs, so I’ve been thrilled with the purchase. They’re well made and I’m definitely getting my value for the money.One more note, I wear a women’s small in gloves, so I have lots of room in these. They are a bit too large, but they still hug my fingers and stay on well, so no complaints.

Works great for hand pain relief
This ice glove is very comfortable and easy to use. It cools evenly and helps reduce swelling and pain in my wife’s hands. I like that it can also be heated for therapy. Very practical and relaxing

Great but the velcro strap is tough
This is great for achy hands. The glove provides a snug, very cold freeze to sore joints & tendons. It’s fabulous. If I could change 1 thing it would be the super-stick velcro that wraps around the wrist. My aching fingers can’t deal with the velcro. I need that snug feeling on my wrist but the velcro is too hard to peel apart.

These are so great for my arthritic hands in the evenings! I just leave them in fridge, no need to freeze as they are very cold just naturally. The weight, compression and temp are just perfect!

Mixed feelings
I have not tried the heated glove, as I wanted cooling. I placed the glove in the freezer for the day. When I put it on, it was too cold/painful to wear longer than a couple minutes. Then it warmed up quickly. I’ll try the fridge from now on. The velcro is really tough; I feel like I’m tearing it. The fabric and gel are really smooth and comfortable. Very large for small hands; my fingers do not reach open tips.

Great Quality
I have hand issues and bought these for ice and heat. They get really cold so I let them sit out for a bit before using them. Heat does not stay as long as the cold but comfortable and nice quality.

Have Dupytrens contracture so the palms of my hands get inflamed and ache. This glove does a good job of lessening the inflammation and aching. A little big for my small hands, but still does a good job
