Great heating pad! Works wonderfully!
This purple heating pad works exactly as described. It has 6 heat settings and I love that it also includes 4 timer options (1, 2, 4, and 6 hours), which is great just in case it gets left on. The cord is easy to attach and detach for storage.It’s a great size for the belly area or lower back, and the pad is lightweight, soft, flexible, and feels durable. I’ve used it multiple times with no issues at all—it works just like my old heating pad. I also love the color options; the purple is a great choice. Overall, it’s a good value and appropriately priced.

It heats up fast. You can set the timer for up to 6 hours. It has 6 heat modes. It gets hot on the highest one, which I love! It is really soft. The color is a pretty light purple.

Comfortable but hard to keep in place
This review is for the 12×24 inch XXXX (actually 30x60cm) heating pad with four timer settings and six heat settings.I’ll jump ahead and say I would definitely buy this heating pad again. I purchased the blue version and find the color quite pleasant and somewhat soothing on it’s own. I really like the soft, velvet like, very comfortable fabric used for this heating pad. The pad is very flexible and in most cases I can easily get it snugly fitting over the shoulder, around arm, elbow, etc. The pad size is good for most individual joint/muscle aches. However, it isn’t quite large enough to heat the shoulder all the way down the arm and over my elbow. I’ll also mention that you don’t get much heat from the last inch or two of the heating pad on the short side of the connector end. While the internal wires do run across the end of the pad; I have found very little heating in that area. That area doesn’t have the dimples like the rest of the pad and may not be keeping the wiring in uniform spacing like the rest of the pad.Power consumption measures between 65 and 75 watts when first turned on at any heat setting. This is why it heats up fast. The heating controller uses a simple on/off cycling of power to maintain the selected temperature setting. This design simply leaves the power on for longer intervals with higher heat settings. I was thinking it would be a more modern pulse width modulated design; but my energy monitor shows the power consumption slowly jumping up and down rather than a more steady wattage that changes with the heat setting.The controller interface is very simple and effective. However, I do want to caution that if you press the down temperature button when on #1 heat setting the controller will cycle around to the #6 setting. If on the #6 setting and press up temperature button it will cycle around to the #1 setting. (The timer button cycles around as well) One time I removed the heating pad, which was set on #1, to get up and somehow touched the down button. When I came back and put the pad on my shoulder it was terribly hot. The controller showed it was on #6. I would think having the settings stop at top and bottom limits would be safer.I find the cord between controller and pad quite stiff and difficult to work with. It frequently pulls, catches, or twists with placement or adjustment of the pad. I often find the controller upside down or otherwise in an inconvenient location after tweaking the pad placement. A much more flexible cable would be good improvement. Plus a little longer length on this cable would allow getting the controller off my belly when I have the pad over the shoulder and the pad connector up by my neck. The power cord plug to pad length is very good at a little over 8 ft total length. Also, if you see the controller heat number flashing you need to check the connector to pad – the number will flash if they are disconnected.While I really like the pad fabric, it would really be very helpful if there was an inch or so perimeter cloth to allow safety pinning the pad in place. Given the manual doesn’t recommend being on top of the pad (laying or sitting on it), I have a hard time figuring out when I would ever use the 4 or 6 hour timer settings. I frequently find I have to readjust the pad position as it moves whenever I move. I have placed the pad between my shoulder and sofa with low heat settings and sometimes find the heat a bit hotter in some places vs others. If you can’t keep the pad pressed against your body you will likely be using the higher heat settings. I’ve noticed that when the pad is just ¼ to ½ inch away from my shoulder I just don’t feel much warmth. Many times I find I’m holding the pad against my body with a free hand – not so convenient when I often use the heat for 1-2 hours.Finally, one reason I selected this pad was (I think) the ad indicated it could be used as a moist heating pad. The manual doesn’t say anything about how to do this. As a test, I got a spray bottle and lightly sprayed the pad. This worked well enough; but when the manual says to not use when wet I would have appreciated more knowledge on this approach.

It works great and heats up fast. It’s small but my other heating pad was just a small rectangle shape. This one is longer and is much more comfortable to use. I love that I can unplug it and wash it too. I think it’s a good product for the price.
