Ideal for measuring body weight in 1/10 pound increments
Did I really need a smart scale? No. But I really wanted a scale that measured more precisely than 0.5 pound increments (especially when my intentional weight loss can be painfully slow). This scale is the perfect solution. It records my data to a free app and, on the app, I can track my trends. This is not a medical device. The biometic data is only a crude estimate and isn’t super accurate, but can be useful from the standpoint of comparing one point of time to another. The scale sends an imperceptible electrical impulse through the body and calculates the biometric results from the impedance coupled with height, weight, age, etc. A DEXA body composition scan is considered the gold standard. At some point in the future (when I have achieved my weight loss goal), I will likely have the DEXA scan and then compare the results to the biometric data from the scale.

NO WATER SPOTS
I got this a couple of weeks ago, it worked great the first couple of times, but then it would not. I have been keeping it in my bathroom, and the functions other than the weight have quit working. Today I wiped it off to send it back, and thought maybe I should try again. It worked without water spots on the metal plates 🤪 … so word to the wise, you may not want to keep this one in your bathroom.

Great scale if you want to take your health seriously!
This is such a great scale! I had the previous FitIndex scale that measured with 4 electrodes. Since I’m working on my health I decided to upgrade for Black Friday. I used it for the first time today and while I did ‘gain’ 5 pounds between the two scales I can tell my measurements are much more spot on.I also love the report that they give you showing a breakdown of all of your stats.

Easy to program.So far I’ve downloaded detail information about body composition, etc.Just getting to understand how the scale will assist in keeping track of weight and other measurements.This is better than paying weight loss company to monitor.It works well so far.
