Get 1 size larger, might not be usable for exercise
The ad’s sizing info instructs you to measure your leg’s circumference a couple of inches above the knee. Since my leg’s measurement was 16.5″, according to the ad I should have ordered a medium which is for measurements of 16-18. However, after reading the reviews many of which said the recommended size was too tight, I ordered a large (for measurements 18-20″). For me, the large fit comfortably, applied moderate compression to my knee and did not slip down while exercising. If it had been a bit loose then I could have folded over the top 1″ to make it a bit tighter. Although per the ad I should have ordered a medium, I’m sure that a medium would have been way too tight and uncomfortable. What I don’t know is whether this sleeve will stretch out with use and get too big over time. I’ll update this review if that becomes the case. However, I can almost guarantee that if you get the size recommended in the ad’s sizing chart that you will return it immediately and never get to the stretched out and looser point.There are a lot of parts in your knee and this sleeve might work for some but not for all problems. If you have an ace bandage you could try wrapping it around your knee and then if this compression works to relieve pain then get a sleeve.I have more knee problems than most including occasional patellar tendinitis, MCL & LCL pain, muscle tenderness as well as arthritis. This sleeve did reduce the pain resulting from the patellar, MCL & LCL but not from the popliteus. However, while this product did help when not being particularly active, I can not use it when engaging in more active pursuits. After about 10 minutes exercising while using this product I developed cramps (pains) in my calf muscles. When I removed the sleeve the cramps went away in a couple of minutes. I do have some circulatory problems in my legs so this might not be an issue for everyone. However, I don’t get any cramps when using a knee strap during 15+ minutes hitting the elliptical or treadmill hard.The product seems to be well made and offered at a reasonable price.

Great Support and Comfort!
This CURAD knee support works perfectly! I’ve been using it for workouts and everyday wear, and it gives just the right amount of compression without feeling too tight. It stays in place really well — no slipping or rolling — and the material is soft, breathable, and comfortable for long periods. It’s also super easy to put on and adjust. My knee feels more stable and supported, especially when walking or when going up or down stairs. Excellent quality and great value!

Nice compression support
I like the compression feel and it is not too tight so provides support without discomfort. Seem durable but not bulky and should wash well. I followed the measurement recommendations but they still roll down at the top, however, that is probably just me, may be they would be better with a slimmer thigh. (Need to make for plus size people.) Would be a 5 star if didn’t roll down.

The medium size was a bit small, but it’s a good sleeve
I got the medium since, as a six-foot tall adult, I figured my knees were too big for a small, but the medium turned out to be smaller than I had imagined. Even so, it fit my knee well enough since it’s very stretchable. I use it for playing basketball so I don’t scrape my knee in case of a fall. If you’re a larger person, go for the large size. A fit adult could probably best use a medium. If you’re skinny or smaller in stature, the small would likely work best.It won’t protect your knee very much against bumping into some hard, but it works well to support your knee cap and protect it against scrapes. You’ll hardly know you have it on, except it makes your leg feel more secure and stable.

Usefulness
This is not bulky, the support is not overbearing. Everyone is different as the shape of the leg/knee is different. This knee support worked well for me. Gave me the light support I needed on those days I needed less than my heavy knee support. It is light weight, I should have bought 2 but until I used it, I did not know it would work well for me. That said, it might not be snug enough or too snug for you.

hazard to circulation
Much too tight for a size medium. Bands at top and bottom cut off circulation which can be hazardous. The thing was so tight there was difficulty in removing. Will go to a credible pharmacy for a knee support.
