I didn’t realize until after I received it…
I literally went through a week of returning heating pads because they were either not hot enough or not hot enough or the heating area was extremely small.This one is fantastic for what it is.Last week I returned from six weeks of physical therapy, and they used the water heated pads in physical therapy and with the salt this version of a heating pad for home use for 40 bucks or whatever it is really very nicely approximate that even heating, even though the size of this particular pad is not that large but for the money I think it’s extra extraordinary. Also, don’t miss out on aligning it in line with your spine, not around your waist. I’ve been doing that and kind of lowering my pants and pulling up my shirt and it really hits the spine. You put a nice little cloth in between you and the pad and with the salt it’s really nice.

Very good heating pad!! It has six heating settings, the highest setting doesn’t cause discomfort and I enjoy the slight weighted feeling. My cat also very appreciative of the furry top she likes sitting on it when it warms up.

Heavy duty heating pad for multi uses
I really like this Himalayan salt heating pad. I use it under my legs after a long day at work when I’m feeling tightness through my hips and thighs. I like the weight of it. It’s a bit heavy with the pink Himalayan salt. I also use it for when I have cramps or stomach issues. I like that it has an extender belt so that I can adjust it without it being too tight. It also has a tightener if you need it smaller. This would fit a variety of sized people and has many versatile uses. You do have to use it flat, and it cautions not to lay on it. So if using for your back, lay face down then apply. The remote is easy to use. The cord is a bit short, so have an extension cord or an outlet near your bed for use. The outside of the pad is also very fluffy soft. It also comes with a storage bag to keep it contained/clean when not in use.

Great for aches and pains
I really enjoy this Himalayan salt weighted heating pad! It’s super soothing and relaxing after a long day of work or that time of the month. The heat settings offer a wide variety of temperatures to best suit your needs. I find when it’s on the back it fits best when you’re sitting with something behind you to kind of sandwich it against your back. It’s nice and soft and does make me feel better! I also like how soft the outside is too.

Not the best but it will do.
It takes about 15 minutes to heat up. Eben at the highest level it really does not get very hot. It works for minor aches and pain. It does not draw very much moisture from the air when the relative humidity is low. Very low moisture. It works.

Weighted soothing heat
I’ve used this COMFYTEMP heating pad for treating both lower and upper backpain experienced after shoveling snow, and I did feel as though the heating pad helped to relieve some of my muscle tension and aches. The unidentified material of this heating pad (no label) was a comforting nonirritant on my sensitive skin and felt soft and fluffy to the touch. The large detachable remote was a three-button device – icons that represented settings for temperature, timed intervals (from 30 minutes – 2 hour modes), and activation (on/off button). Upon pressing buttons for preferred settings, the yellow in color LED display remained lit for approximately 1 second after each press. The blue protective remote’s screen cover took some maneuvering to peel away from the display, though, because the tab of the screen protector initially broke off when I attempted to remove it.The size of the COMFYTEMP heating pad was adequate to accommodate my 5’.6 ½” height and 120 pound frame and the Velcro-like straps adjusted to accommodate larger sizes. The pad was weighted, weighing in at approximately 1.85 pounds, according to my luggage scale, and felt soothing around my waist. I estimated that it took 10-minutes for the pad to fully heat to my preferred setting, and once reached, temperature remained consistent.Overall, the functionality and performance of this COMFYTEMP heating pad were notable and worth the value – the pad did provide soothing heat – and although a tad bulky, the fabric was flexible enough to fold for packing for travel purposes.

Comfortable and works well!
This is a nice heating pad. It was nice and comfy and had a good weight that felt comfortable. I really like the way the salt felt against my back, it had a nice weighty feel and the nice squish, kind of like a stress ball with sand in it. The heat level was very nice, it felt soothing and comfortable, and it didn’t get so hot that I was worried it was going to get burned a little. I was using level 3 which felt perfect for me, but if you like hotter temperatures, it has another 4 heat levels. It functioned pretty well, I felt like I had to make the strap pretty tight to get it to push against my lower back. Also, like most of these corded heating pads, you need to be close to an outlet to use it. But it was very soothing, and quite comfortable. I wasn’t really having pain or soreness when I tried it, but I think it will do a great job relieving soreness and pain. I anticipate getting some good relief and comfort from this Himalayan salt heating pad.
