At first try it was a bit unbearable for even 1-min but after using it less than a week I’m already up to 5-mins. I feel relief in multiple areas during and after session. Good purchase.

The raised nodules are rigid. Wear a pair of thick socks or put a towel when first start.
The raised nodules are stiff and rigid. The material is hard plastic so it is quite painful if step on it with bare feet. It will need time to get used to it. I understand there are the same style of mats with rolling balls which is made of silicone which is softer but still provide pressure. Unfortunately I searched the entire Amazon but could not find it. I will have to compromise for this one but keep looking.Edit: The seller is very responsive, contacted me issued a refund. For those acupressure mats, we do need time to adjust and get used to them. If there is no pressure (or pain), no use. However, not to give up, I suggested when first using it to wear pair of thick socks, or put a towel above. If we consist using it, we will get use to it.

The quality is really good. I find it very satisfying, value for money. It’s bit hard but it should be as it’s a massage mat. It’s effective and it does make me relaxed.

I wish I’d had this 20 or 30 years ago, before my arthritis & its side effects (😣 got so painful. And I hope that if I can use it enough it will at least slow the painful transition into the nineties. I should know more in a few weeks if I can make myself keep trying.Bringing Hope

Helpful Acupressure Mat
I ordered this mat for a couple reasons. The first is that I suffer from foot pain and the second is because I often have shoulder and back pain due to tension and this item also came with the foot massage balls.What I like about this mat: While the balls are intended to be used on your feet, they work well for the back and shoulder areas also. Again, one of the reasons I purchased this item. The mat itself has areas where the raised nodules are very close together as well as the inner area where they are farther apart. I find that if I only have a slight pain or for the heel /ball of my foot I prefer the outer part of the mat with the closer nodules and for arch pain I really prefer the inside section. I also love that this mat is small enough to fit under my desk as I work from home and I will often put the balls in the track and run my feet back and forth as I work which feels amazing.When I initially received this item it came folded in half. I was a bit disappointed by this because I was afraid that it would not unfold flat. However, it did come with directions to appropriately flatten the item out which I followed and it worked well. I would say after a day or two it was fairly flat and after about a week of use you can’t even tell it was initially folded. I will also say that this mat feels excellent when you are sitting down and you place it under your calf or leg muscles as it offers some nice acupressure in those areas as well. It would probably also feel awesome if you laid your back on it.Overall, this mat seems to be well constructed and does not show signs of stress from being folded in the box and then subsequently unfolded. I also think that at $20 it is a pretty good value for your money given it comes with the massage balls also and those can get pricey.If you are looking for an acupressure mat this one is a good choice!

I’ve been using this acupressure foot mat for a couple of weeks now, and I’m honestly impressed by how effective it is for relieving tension and fatigue in my feet. At first, the spikes felt a bit intense (especially if you’re not used to acupressure), but after a few minutes, you get used to the sensation—and even start to enjoy it.Overall, if you’re looking for a natural, non-electric way to ease foot pain, relax, and improve circulation, this is a great tool to have at home. Just be patient with the initial discomfort—it’s worth it!
