Accurate even on unlevel floors!
Since moving into an apartment that does not have entirely level floors we’ve had problems getting accurate and consistent readings from our now-previous scale. We decided it was time to get a replacement and I sought out one that would work well on uneven surfaces. This was one of the first scales to come up in my search and since we both liked the design, I ordered it. While we received an obvious return (the batteries were floating around loose inside) the scale still looked new and lit up on first use without issue, so we went on to test it for accuracy.While I haven’t used a weight to calibrate the scale I do believe it’s fairly accurate right out of the box. (Edit: We weighed our dog ahead of his vet appointment a few days ago and the weight precisely matched the vets scale!) I have noticed that the first time that I step onto the scale it overestimates my weight by a few pound, but from the second measurement on it remains completely consistent. So, I always step on and get that first measurement out of the way, doublecheck that it’s on a mostly level surface and then step back on. It remains fairly accurate even when I move it into a different room, once that first measurement is out of the way. This scale is far more accurate and consistent than our previous scale despite our uneven floors.Speaking of which… this really is a very nice looking scale. We chose the one listed as blue, but noticed in the images on Amazon the color leaned more purple. We weren’t really sure what to expect as a result. The color is rich cobalt blue. This doesn’t interfere with the scales readability at all though. I find the measurements very easy to read. I also quite like that I can get my measurement in both pounds and kilograms. This is quite handy since some of the sports related apps that I am on use metric and others imperial.As one other reviewer noted, this scale is not both digital and analog. It is fully digital and will not work without batteries installed. I don’t really see this as a drawback, but it is something to be aware of before purchase. If you’re looking for a dual analog/digital scale, this one isn’t it. But, if you’re ok with a fully digital scale with an analog-style readout in both imperial and metric this one is hard to beat.The build quality, appearance, and reliability make this scale a good value for the current price point (around $40 USD). It surpasses other scales in this price range and also more expensive scales that we’ve owned in the past. We’re quite happy with this scale and will definitely be keeping it.

Easy to Read
This scale is easy to read with the digital output or by the analog scale. The one we have lights up blue so you can see it in the dark. It is very slim and looks really good in the bathroom. It comes with 3 batteries which are very easy to install, these are for the light and digital display. This is accurate that both digital and analog are validating each other.

Tengo varias basculas de diferentes marcas y los resultados de peso de todas ellas son incorrectos marcando diferentes valores en una serie de acciones consecutivas. Ignorando por tanto de entre cinco o seis cual es el valor correcto lo cual no me sirve. Me decidí por este modelo digital/analógico después de comparar con otros y he quedado totalmente satisfecho tanto por la estética que es muy bonita, como por la precisión de los valores que siempre se mantienen idénticos sin varias en varias pesadas consecutivas. Lo cual indica una calidad y exactitud en los sensores incorporados que no tienen las demás marcas. Recomiendo encarecidamente este modelo que ha superado ampliamente mis expectativas.

First off I order this in blue for two reasons. First the color seemed to offer a more clinical sterile appearance which I thought was appropriate. Secondly; after receiving my first one, I found the display lighting to closely match the blue glass color which overall makes this combination appear composed and elegant. I don’t know if the blue glass color was chosen specifically to match the display but the combo works.Don’t ask me why but the scale graduated for metric or imperial measurements has a significant price difference. Also there are other scales listed that seem to be virtually identical other than finish at more than double cost. At the time of purchase, when on sale I found this blue one graduated in LBs to be very economical. One for the mystery file. I was able to purchase two scales for less than the price of one similar scale from other sellers.The unit uses 3 AAAA miniature alkaline batteries to power it which are included with the scale and I found to have charge. Battery compartment is on the underside and does not require tools to access or change batteries.The scale operates beyond my expectations. It self calibrates to zero. Stepping on it activates the display which then rotates the dial to the measurement, it then simultaneously displays the reading on the digital readout and backlights the dial in blue. Furthermore it captures this reading without fluctuation which remains on for a short duration after taking the measurement. It really couldn’t be made much easier to get a steady graduated to one decimal place LBs reading from it.
