European craftsmanship
I saw so many influencers promoting Pranamat that I was honestly skeptical. But then I tried it ata friend’s house – and immediately knew I needed one too. Seeing it in person was love at firstsight.I thought it would be just another wellness gadget – something you use once and forget. But it’sso beautiful, so well-made, and feels so good to the touch that we keep it right in the livingroom. My husband and I end up sitting or lying on it almost every evening while watching TV.We didn’t even have to build a habit – it just became part of our life, like it was always meant tobe there.I didn’t even consider the cheap copies – I care about sustainability, natural materials, andEuropean craftsmanship. For me, that matters more than saving a few bucks.But the real reason I wanted to try it was my back.I’ve had lower back pain for years after an epidural during childbirth.Even the first time I tried Pranamat, I felt relief.When my own set arrived, I immediately laid down on the mat and placed the pillow under myback. Very well made and good quality. Does take time to get used to it. It also needs to air out a little. It comes with a lot of instructions and uses which is very helpful. The stitching is amazing.

Achieve Zen
Like acupuncture, acupressure causes dopamine to be released. In the beginning its like laying on a bed of nails with sharp poking into your skin. Very quickly, though, the brain chemicals get moving and the experience becomes pleasant and relaxing. I had to set a timer to limit myself to 10 minute sessions, because I’d start to zone out.This isn’t for everyone. Some people will stop at it feeling uncomfortable/borderline painful and never reach that dopamine rush the same way some people get a runner’s high and some people just get out of breath and exhausted.

I was skeptical, but I have heard such good things about this mat. This was definitely well worth the price. Excellent product and quality. Essential purchase for people who suffer from back pain.

I feel no different(Not for me)
This seems like the biggest gimmick I’ve seen in a while. I found no real benefits to using this for 1 week, 30ish minutes a day ? I pretty much would nap for a bit on this, all it does is potentially stimulate blood flow to the skin layer of the your body which you maybe lying on ? I feel like it’s just another thing pushed by influencers with no real benefits, none that I could find backed by studies. Real Acupressure has benefits, but this isn’t quite providing that. For the price tag, I’d expect it to do a whole lot more. I felt no sensation of tingles even after 30 minutes. No additional signs of pain relief or mobility opening. You would better off stretching and foam rolling to open up mobility. Build quality of the product was good. However the usecase for this isn’t quite there.

Dubious Effects of an Expensive Product
Alright well this is just incredibly expensive for what you get. A mat the size of a couch cushion, and a beanbag-filled pillow, all covered in little spiky flowers. The question is “What does it do?” to which I would say “well it sure makes walking in a dark room a tense experience since I can’t figure out where to store it and its just on the floor.” In reality it makes your back tingle, and anything more than that I have not noticed. I will never discount other people’s experiences and feelings, but for me this just feels uncomfortable, with no real benefits or drawbacks. The spikes themselves feel very sturdy and I never once felt like they were going to break, or so sharp that they’d ever break the skin, but they also never did anything positive for me, so its really just a mixed bag. Maybe for those who need to stimulate blood flow in their backs this could be a good, but for me it did little to nothing. Overall this does feel like a well-made set, but at the same time I’m not sure its “$350-good.” I’ll give this a 3/5, but if I could it’d be more like a 2.5/5 since it is truly mediocre, and definitely not something I’d ever recommend.
