Firm Foot Massage
SKG Shiatsu Foot Massager. This electric foot massager has features that can be used together or separately. When you turn on the massager all functions are working on low and the heat is on. You can turn off all the modes. I prefer to just use “Mode” which is the massage rollers under the feet. The massage rollers are firm but not too strong. The “Air Intensity” is too strong for me on low and squeezes around my feet so I turn it off. The heat function gives a glimmer of light inside the foot wells.The cord is short so I have to sit close to an electric outlet. There’s a round connection to a tube on the unit. I hold the tube when connecting/disconnecting the cord. Point the remote down at the massager and you can turn ON/Off and operate the functions.I wear fresh pair of clean dry socks when I use the foot massager. I put my women’s size 8.5 feet in a comfortable spot on the rollers. I plugged the foot massager in the nearest outlet in the living room and my family positioned the game table around me for family game night.This massager fits under my work table and plugs into a nearby outlet. I can massage my feet while using my iPad.

Stopped Working After Just One Week
I have been using this product for only one week, and now it will not turn on. It actually did not work the very first time I tried it, but I thought it might be because I was using it for the first time. In the end, it broke after just one week.

We don’t all have the same feet, plus other issues…
Despite the many good things I have to say about this quality device from SKG, there are a few items that will most likely keep me from using it and they are: 1) NO MEMORY, so you will have to continuously change the settings every time you turn it on unless the default is acceptable to you; 2) That BLINKING light – why on earth does it continue to blink if I have it turned off? VERY annoying! 3) the shiatsu massager balls in conjunction with the inflatable compression modes is excruciatingly painful even at the lowest settings. Now I do stress at one point in the very long video that your feet and mine are very different and so your experience can be entirely different than mine, so that last point may or may not be as negative for you as it is for me. I start off the video with first impressions about the excellent quality and very fine features including the construction, materials, care, carrying strap, etc, and I cover a lot of ground. But after multiple days and varying attempts to find workable solutions, I just don’t think I will use this much or possibly at all because of those three issues and that isn’t a complete list. Other things that I found a challenge include the fact that the heat offers only an on or off and no varying levels of temperature like most other similar devices, plus it takes a lot of time to even heat up a few degrees. The User Manual states it reaches 131degrees F, but after repeated uses I checked and never saw the temp reach more than 102. Numerous errors in the User Manual including two entire pages devoted to a non-existent battery. Huh? Under the Troubleshooting portion of the manual, they suggest that “Abnormal massage intensity” is because you have your foot in it wrong and to “Adjust your posture…”. As I stated previously, the compression intensity can make the pain intense as it forcefully presses your feet into the hard kneading balls, so be careful.

Massage is good – quality control could be better
I somehow ended up with two of these so if you see another review that sounds just like this one it’s because both products are mostly the same. The first one I got was definitely the poorer quality of the two. Especially with the remote. Plugging in the power cord felt a little bit looser and like the port wasn’t quite as secure as it could be. The remote just did not work. I had to try a different battery in it to even see if I could get it working and even after swapping the battery and pressing all the buttons and adjusting everything I could, it only works about 20% of the time. The buttons on the machine work great and they’re easy enough to reach, but the remote would’ve been nice to have. One thing to note on the remote is that there is a tiny screw holding the locking slot in place so be sure to remove that before you try to push the tab over and slide the battery slot out. I learned that the hard way.As far as the massage goes it’s really nice if you have female sized feet. Although large male feet fit inside it, it is definitely sized for a woman’s feet with where the massagers are. They don’t go all the way to the back of the opening so you’ll have to push your feet all the way forward to get the most out of it and if your feet are large, you can’t go anymore forward to get your heel massaged. It’s a series of rolling balls underneath the floor of the machine and the top is airbag compression. There are different levels to the airbag compression and all of them are comfortable. The heat is really nice and relaxing and the rollers have a couple different variations but mostly they all feel the same. I would definitely wait for a sale as the price at the time of the review ($110) is too high. If you can find it for less than $75, it would be worth it.
